Question : How is Jazz drum style different or the same as Rock drum style?

  1. Yeah, it does have a few differences. the style. I guess rock is more.. Louder. I don't really know..

  2. A rock drum line is more faster louder and more more. while jazz is slow and a little softer, and more simple.

  3. The drum i guess is just more rhythmic and has a certain feel to it. Rock is just... i dont know how to explain. but the feeling of the drums between rock and jazz are very different

  4. It doesn't sound as crazy and loud as Rock seems like there really hitting hard and jazz doesn't

  6. Jazz is more busy and intricate as to where rock drumming is more linear.

  7. jass is more syncopated than rock also rock used a back beet not the front beet like jass.

  8. I guess rock would be louder and faster, while the jazz would be softer and slower. Other than that, I'm not really sure . . .
