Well, it would sure make a lot of people really live up to the "one life" thing. It would be pretty sad if we lived only up to 29. Die so young? That would really suck.
I believe more people would be able to do more things. Our society wouldn't be so limited. It would also change the way we communicate with others. Life may be short but we as humans would make it seem long.
