Question : In your opinion, explain which aspect of a live concert appeals to you most, the visual display or the sound you hear?
Welcome to my all things creative music blog. I love interesting ways of looking at things and making correlations with subjects that normally would not be associated with each other. Here you will find videos of music performances, tutorials, and editorials about the ever changing world of music. If you have questions about music, feel free to post. I will do my best to find the best possible answer available to me and the world wide web.
Well it is all about the music ,
ReplyDeleteBut I think the visual also plays a big part .
I think that a combination of the two can do great things, but the sound you hear is of higher priority. In my opinion, I wouldn't be too worried about visuals if I were at, say, an underground concert or rave or such.
ReplyDeleteI think the sound is more important because if there's no music then there's nothing to see. A concert is built around the music
ReplyDeletethe music is always better. if there was a video for music, you have nothing to imagine as you listen. we perceive the music with the video as better because they find it easier to compute. to me personally, music is best.
ReplyDeletei think that they are equal in a way because I don't want to go to a concert where theirs a bunch of ugly people or when you cant understand what there saying because there muttering.
ReplyDeleteIt really depends on how the music is played. like if you hove a band like b.p.c. there music wasnt so great so the had hot girls cover it up, but if the music is played right then theres no need in any cover up just some rockin music.
ReplyDeleteI believe that the sound and motion picture are equally important, without one the other wouldn't be as interesting. They are opbviously connected and create a great atmoshere.
ReplyDeleteI would have to say the sound. You could be closing your eyes or be right outside and know every word and picture in your mind what everything looks like. With visual display and no sound its hard to imagine what it looks like.
ReplyDeleteIt's about having both an amazing sound and amazing visuals. Its about being pumped up with the visuals and the sounds, it shows the talent and creativity that the person/band that is playing can with hold.

In my personal opinion, sound is more important than visual because sound actually paints a picture in most people's minds. So, why not let your imagination wonder instead of being told what to see?
ReplyDeleteI think sound pleases me more. I couldnt imagine just standing at a show watching lights flicker on and off.
ReplyDeleteI think both are important because it would not be appealing with out the visual affects and it with out musice it boring to the viewer
ReplyDeleteMixture of the two, if you only really have one it doesn't really feel the same. Sound must be equal to the visuals.
ReplyDeleteI think without the music the visuals wouldn't really matter, but with them the music's more interesting, and can if not almost tell an entire story. Personally i'd say theyre equaly as in impostant based upon that reasoning.
ReplyDeleteI believe it is both. The concerts I go to the sound it awesome, but they crowd surf, they move around and show they actually love what there doing. They really get into there music rather then some people who are just there for fame and money. I believe in both, because of you do not have both then you don't have the full experience.
ReplyDeleteIt really depends, when it comes to vocal performance I think your talent level is more important. but when it comes to DJ's, Dancers, and other Visual Performances your display should be on point. I enjoy vocal talent a little more I like the performers that don't need all the lights and fog machines and laser shows to look appealing I would rather listen to someone with a great voice just with a mic stand and a guitar.
