Interactive Circle of Fifths Diagram

This is a useful website that I found that will help you to understand how to use the Circle of Fifths when writing and composing music.  The circle of fifths is an outline which shows the chords that would be best used in a particular key following the rules of the common era of music.

The user picks the key they wish to use and the diagram highlights and numbers the major, minor and diminished chords that fall within the chosen key.

Seaquence : Organic Music Generator

Seaquence is an experiment in musical composition.  Adopting a biological metaphor,
you can create and combine the musical lifeforms resulting in an organic, dynamic composition.

The user will create organisms based on the envelope, or shape, of the sound wave.  Each organism can be customized to create any number of electronic sounds and interact with the other organisms by proximity to the center of the screen.
