This conjures an image of a waiter at a nice restaurant, not associating orchestral music with fancy restaurants, but it's like at the beginning it's him just getting to work and going through the motions of the morning, then comes the work day, at lunch, then it settles and then dinner comes. And when the song settles and seems deeper, it's him getting off work and walking home in the night life, getting food, and going to bed.
