Franz Schubert
Serenade
Question : What images do you see when you listen to this piece?
Welcome to my all things creative music blog. I love interesting ways of looking at things and making correlations with subjects that normally would not be associated with each other. Here you will find videos of music performances, tutorials, and editorials about the ever changing world of music. If you have questions about music, feel free to post. I will do my best to find the best possible answer available to me and the world wide web.
I see a man in a costume. And he spots a beautiful girl. She sees him too. He walks up and asks her to dance. She agrees they dance. They we smiling and happy. But there are some jealousy rising. They both acknowledge it and they walk out holding hands.
ReplyDeleteWhen listening to this piece I imagine a ballet with an audience full of higher class people in tuxedoes and nice dresses back in the early 1900's. On stage I see the main female ballerina dancing a romantic dance with other main male ballerina. The dance is passionate and full of emotion. I see that she must depart but he persuades her to stay with his charm and strong love for her. The play ends and everyone applauds.
ReplyDeleteI see something peaceful, like a boat in the middle of the ocean.
ReplyDeleteI see these two little kids on the beach watching the sun set. Then falling asleep in each others arms on the ocean side...
ReplyDeleteSomething rather sad and empty...
ReplyDeleteThe images I see are kind of sad. It reminds me of when a man and a woman are alone on the balcony. When a man tells the love of his life that he is leaving the country, and will never come back. Thats how I image it.
