Well I really don't know how that works , haha . But I'm guessing it is the size of the cup , Or the amount of water in the cup . Ha , that's cool , haha .

It's quite obvious actually, the pitch is determined by the width and height of the glass as well as how much water is poured into the glass. I think if you were to use a thicker liquid perhaps the tone would be deeper.

it is determine by the size and the shape of the glass. the amount of water in the glass is a factor.
