Open Mic Highlights

Flash Floods Can't Drown-out the Music

Excited students flooded this year’s first Open Mic Night despite a much needed torrential downpour last night. Performances included dance, poetry, original songs and cover songs all executed by students eager to brave the stage and share their art with friends, family and teachers. Students pushed through and finished the night strong with exciting and moving performances in face of a leaky door and a snails-pace internet due to inclement weather. Special thanks to all who contributed and helped make Open Mic Night a success.

Students and/or teachers who are interested in performing at The San Antonio School for Inquiry and Creativity’s annual Thanksgiving Community Dinner on Friday, November 16, 2012 are encouraged to contact Mr. Wilson in-person or by email before October 19,2012 to reserve time-slot.
